Let's Review: The Revere Golf Club - Lexington Course
Henderson, Nevada
The Skinny
The Revere Golf Club runs a high quality operation just 30 minutes off the strip, with fun golf holes, top tier amenities, and a more reasonable price-point than the famous Vegas resort courses.

The Course
If golf is going to take up a big chunk of your bach weekend agenda, you really don’t want the group complaining about the course you pick. Take everyone to a dog track for cheap, and the country club members will be moaning all afternoon. Take everyone to Shadow Creek and you might get 2 sickos to lever up and everyone else will opt for the pool.
The Revere Golf Club, with 36 holes about 30 minutes from the strip, finds a really solid balance that should satisfy scratch golfers and high-handicappers alike.
Both courses tip out over 7,000 yards with pretty insane elevation changes throughout. I fully thought that Vegas was flat? But you’ll end up playing a ton of blind tee shots down to thin fairways with ridiculous views surrounding the tee boxes - the views of the strip on the front 9 of Lexington were special.
There are some gimmicky moments - a few too many mid-irons off the tee and forced layups on short par-5s - but you’ll hit every club in your bag and the line between birdie and bogey is pretty fine the whole time.
The Price
I am not going to pretend like I have paid for and played every course in Las Vegas, but this was a $200 golf round that felt squarely like a $200 golf round, if that makes sense.
When you hear numbers being thrown around like $600, $800, and $1,200 for the best courses in Vegas, I wouldn’t balk at this price, especially considering the club’s upkeep, amenities, and proximity to the strip.
Signature Hole
I thought 18 was a really great finishing hole that asked some interesting questions about how to hit your tee shot. Lined with bunkers left and trouble right, it is a fun risk/reward if you step on one up the right.
But, my simple brain can’t get over a long par 3 with water and views of the city behind it. The 12th hole plays almost 200 yards with a big pond left and brutal bunkering on the right - behind everything you got views of Vegas.

Grabbing a Bite
Our group was in and out but the clubhouse was really nice so I’m sure they pump out a good dog.
Nice to Know
Grass range, fully-loaded golf carts, and it feels like the booze cart is trailing you the entire round. The Revere’s best quality (by far, IMO) is its amenities and service. They don’t pretend like they aren’t a place where a group of hungover hacks can’t go out to drink 6 beers and shoot 100’s.
How many sleeves: 3
Very thin, lots of desert, sneaky water, thick rough - definitely not a bomb and gouger’s paradise. If you can’t hit a long iron, stuff your pockets with provisionals.
