The Course

If you are lucky enough to be weekending in South Jersey, this course is one the best you’ll find with a week’s notice. Whether staying in Stone Harbor, Avalon or Sea Isle, you are looking at tops a 25 minute drive.

The Whites make the course a little too easy (5,700), and the Blues play at a 6,200 yardage with some incredibly difficult tee shots.

If you are like me and like to take the big stick out no matter what on Par 4’s and 5’s take your medicine because come the back 9 you’ll just be hitting your 3 wood off the tee.

Don’t come here thinking you are improving your handicap. To put it lightly, I quit golf for a week after I plugged that into GHIN.

The Price

Peak times will run you up to $114, with later times varying from $89 to $69. By no means cheap, but if you are looking to switch it up from the beach or the bay, you’ll be very pleased with the course.

Signature Hole

Hole #6

Dog Leg Right Par 4 where unless you full on shhhhmoke your Driver, an iron off the tee will do, but who am I to give you a tip; my drive went 100 yards right and thankfully didn’t hit a house.

I saved for a triple bogey, if you were curious.

Grabbing a Bite

I would recommend eating before the round just because depending on when you get out there; can be a slow round.

With that said, there is a grill right when you walk into the clubhouse, a halfway house and a beverage cart that rides around.

The food at the turn is solid. Jumbo hot dogs, Uncrustables, turkey sandwiches, you name it.

Nice to Know

There is a driving range, but it is only open for members, so if you were looking to hit some balls before your round, you’ll end up playing a putting game on the practice green for 45 minutes.

The GPS on the carts are awesome. You can see a flyover view of the hole on it.
